Busy Saturday lunch time visit - the place was full but service was still very prompt. We both had the burger topped with chorizo and it was second to none. Juicy, flavourful and assembled just right, with delicious burger sauce, gherkins, tomato and lettuce. I'm really fussy when it comes to burgers but have no criticism for theirs. Extensive gin menu which demands to be sampled . This was visit #2 and will be sure to return.

Company had a 'Bit of Do' so for convenience booked a room here too. It was awesome, food was great and service fantastic. The room was very comfortable, warm and cosy. There was a lovely authentic feel to the place too. Breakfast was great, and excellent selection with freshly cooked options too. One bonus too, if was clear the staff really enjoy working there too so, well done management. Definitely will be staying here and recommending to others.
One of the best Sunday Lunches I've ever had. Great service, very tasty food and relaxed atmosphere. The price was great too. Will definitely be returning!
Excellent menu. Pleasant enough service, when you can track it down. My daughter had half a free pudding. I'd have been happy to pay had it not been cooked to the temperature of the Sun and was burnt. The venison tasted just like steak really, I was expecting richer flavours, but the dish as a whole was very nice indeed.
